We have long experience in acting for both employers and employees in issues that arise out of contracts of employment and we offer a full service including following areas:-

  • Drafting of contracts of employment/Service Agreements
  • Advising on the statutory requirements for Disciplinary and Grievance procedures and compliance with them.
  • Advising on and negotiating settlement of claims for unfair and wrongful dismissal and discrimination claims.
  • Representation before Employment Tribunals.
  • Advising and assisting in claims arising out of post-termination restrictions in contracts of employment/service agreements including issuing and defending proceedings for injunction and damages.
  • Preparation of, and advising employees on, Compromise Agreements in settled claims.

We recognise that our clients, whether employers or employees, will generally prefer that disputes are settled by agreement without legal proceedings, if possible. We will make every effort to achieve this goal but will be able to act in the presentation or defence of claims before an Employment Tribunal or the civil courts where settlement cannot be achieved.
